Our day camps are pretty unique. Firstly, we offer film camps, fine art camps, acting camps, animation camps… everything to do with the arts! Secondly, we offer the choice of day camps in Bloor West Village (close to Jane Subway, near Swansea and Etobicoke) or virtual arts camps. Finally our summer day camps are geared specifically for older children and teenagers – ages 11-18 to be precise.
Day Camps for Teens?
Our summer arts camps are designed with the older crowd in mind. We know parents don’t need day care, and teens prefer to get up later in the summer, so our arts camps in Bloor West Village run for 4 hours each day, with a choice of afternoon or evening blocks. Teens work with specialist instructors who have intensive real-world experience in the arts. Our day camps offer the chance to get creative… but also to develop the skills you need to succeed in creative industries.
Film Camps, Drama Camps, Fine Art Camps, Acting Camps… We Have them All!
Our summer day camps run throughout July and August, and offer young people the chance to build communities with others who share their interests. This is especially vital in solo pursuits like creative writing and fine art. If you want to spend the summer writing stories or making art, why not do it with others, and learn from professional instructors, as well?
We have VIRTUAL arts classes, too!
Our virtual day camps offer all the same intensive arts experiences as our in-studio programs… but from the comfort of your home or cottage. Choose from Fine Arts Camps, Creative Writing Camps, Digital Art Camps, Podcasting Camps and more.
Get Creative… and Learn Techniques
Our arts camps focus on both these important aspects. When you join one of our day camps, you’ll have a chance to express yourself creatively – let your ideas fly free, and follow wherever they lead! However, of equal importance in our day camps is the development of techniques. Learn to take better photographs, build a character with skill, storyboard a movie, and so on.
Arts Camps Taught by Professionals
In many day camps, the instructors are camp counsellors whose main job is to keep kids busy in the summer. We offer our older campers so much more than this: access to industry professionals and talented, experienced teachers who understand how to help you take your skills and creative to the next level.
