Join our exciting acting ensemble and build your skills as a performer while having FUN! Explore improvisation, character creation, voice, movement, mask, physical theatre and more. Learn how to collaborate with other actors and discover why imagination and spontaneity are the keys to acting success.

Discover the art of film-making – and act in front of the camera, too, if you wish! Learn – or review – the basics of film making: storyboarding, directing, camera operation, audio, lighting and production design. Each hands-on film course begins with a sequence of short film projects; by rising to challenges set by the instructor and critiquing the results, students further the skills they need to create their own short film. Fine Art: Miniature Masterpieces

Shrink your big ideas into mini masterpieces in this mini Fine Art course! We’ll explore all kinds of art on a small scale – mini paintings for your mini art gallery, teeny food sculptures, adorable miniature books, mini models of your favourite superheroes and villains and more! You’ll paint, draw, sculpt,try print-making and learn a wealth of fine art techniques hands-on as you create a whole world in miniature.
Note: this is a shorter fine art course – just one 10-week semester – so it’s a great start for artists just beginning their journey!

Fine Art Explorations

Develop your creative potential as you paint and draw your way through the year in our after-school fine art class. Learn to create portraits with pen and ink, discover cartoon skills and illustrate a picture book. Explore great artists whose works changed the way we view the world – then work in acrylics and watercolour to make great art of your own. Still life, landscape, portraiture and print-making will all be explored as you experiment with light, space, perspective and form. Over each 15-week semester of fine art classes you will create your own portfolio of work, ready for an exhibition on the final day.
