Summer is a special time at Centauri Arts – young writers, artists, actors and filmmakers from all over the city come together to build community around a shared interest, as they take part in Acting Camps, Creative Writing Camps, Fine Art Camps, Film Camps and more.
If you have a child aged 11-18 who loves creative writing, painting, drawing, cartoon creation, acting, web comics or film, there is something for them at our Toronto studio – or virtually – this summer.

Our Creative Writing Camps in Bloor West Village, Toronto – and Virtually
Our creative writing campers explore poetry, short stories, plays, podcasts… whether they are experienced writers, or complete beginners! In the summer, there’s time to sink into plot, to play with character, learn new techniques and connect with other young writers from all over the city. Young writers can immerse themselves in stories… and explore an activity that parents know will have a direct impact on their academic skills in the fall.
Our Acting Camps in Bloor West Village, Toronto
Explore improvisation, comedy performance, character development, mime, voice, physical theatre, devised theatre and more. Acting campers discover the joy of play creation as they build ensemble, learn new skills, grow in confidence and laugh a lot! Each acting camp ends with a short presentation at the end of the week.
Fine Art Camps and Digital Art Camps in Bloor West Village, Toronto
Choose from Fine Art Camp, Cartoon Creation Camp, Digital Art Camp and more. Explore painting, drawing, graphic design, illustration skills… and work with acrylics, watercolours, pen and ink and more.
Our Virtual Arts Camps this summer
We’re offering Digital Art Camps, Fine Art Camps, Creative Writing Camps, Animation Camps and a Web Comics Camp – so there’s something for everyone, even if you live far from Toronto, or if you are spending your summer at the cottage.
Film Camps in Bloor West Village, Toronto
Make a short film in just 5 days! Learn by doing, as you choose your genre, create a storyboard, write the script, scout locations, and film! We’ll work in the studio and out in the neighbourhood, structuring a movie that will take everyone’s skills to the next level. Learn about lighting, sound, directing, camera work and more as you experience life on set.
