Ages 11-17
Monday 22 July-Friday 26 July
11am to 3.30pm
Join us for a creative writing camp focussed on character! We’ll build original characters, and use their personality traits, weaknesses and strengths to inspire exciting stories. Try your hand at sizzling monologues, exciting scenes for the stage, and segments from screenplays. Learn how to create characters from the inside out, and the outside in – and discover what happens when character meets conflict! We’ll write solo, and for fun, we’ll also find out what happens when our characters clash. This camp is for anyone who likes to write – or wants to give it a go. It would also be a terrific choice for filmmakers, actors… and anyone fascinated by people!
Beginner and experienced writers are all welcome; write by hand or on a device, the choice is yours!
