Join us at the Centauri Arts Studio in Bloor West Village for a 2-hour interactive workshop and learn how to create horror special effects in time for Halloween! This workshop will be run by Sydney Kowal, a professional SPFX makeup artist. You’ll work in pairs, using makeup to create Special Effects such as shadowed contours, hollowed-out eyes, bruising and Zombie bites! Join us for two hours of Halloween fun and develop a new skill as we teach you how to look your WORST! This workshop will not use latex. All supplies are included, and we’ll use only materials you can find yourself, so you can replicate these effects yourself, for Halloween!

Sydney is a graduate of the CMU College of Makeup Art & Design where she specialised in Makeup for Film & Television as well as Special Effects Makeup and Prosthetics Creation.
